Sharapova Power

I am a dedicated Maria Sharapova fan. A lot of people think me very weird and eccentric for this. They all think that she's just a pretty face on the tennis court and screams too much. But to me she's more than that. To me, she's a role model.
Maria Sharapova is the world's top paid female athlete. She has 3 grandslams and 19 career titles overall. Her career has much substance and she cannot be ignored as one of the alltime greats. Sure she does not have as many grandslams as Serena or Venus, but she's younger and she'll catch up in time. As for her grunt, people who complain about it can go stuff themselves. It's something she does so she can play better; a sentiment to how hard she's really working and how much she really wants to win. It's something jealous people point out cuz they're jealous of her millions and looks.
Being a Sharapova fan gives me strength. She's someone I admire and from that admiration i learn from her. If I'm about to give a speech and I'm nervous, I call to mind an image of her about to serve. Her composure, her focus as she wallops that ball at the opponent. It's pro. That's just one word for it. If someone's competing with me, in anything, an arm wrestle, maybe an online game, and I'm behind, I take inspiration from when Sharapova comes back from behind. She never gives up. To me, that means a lot. She's faced match points and still come back firing. She's a strong, focused woman. And I am proud to say that she's a role model of mine.
